About Viviane Eeman

Viviane Eeman is a Belgian freelance journalist based in Brussels. She has worked as a journalist for more than thirty years and specialises in magazine journalism, where she covers art, design and the art of living.

For more than ten years she has contributed to Paris Match Belgique, both in print and online, and to L’Éventail, which listed her among its main contributors in 2019, 2024 and 2025. She has also written for La Libre Belgique and for VILLAS Decoration in 2023 and 2024, and wrote the “Product news” column of A+ Architecture in Belgium from 2019 to 2023.

Art is central to her work. She has followed BRAFA, the Brussels art and antiques fair, since 2016, and has interviewed several of its leaders, including Harold t’Kint de Roodenbeke and Beatrix Bourdon. She also covers Art Brussels and Antica Brussels, and has profiled artists and designers such as Teresa Bracamonte, Charles Kaisin, Kaspar Hamacher and Axel Chay. BRAFA keeps several of her articles in its press archive.

Her interest extends to the art of living: the great champagne houses, with Ruinart and Moët & Chandon, Brussels addresses such as the Bar Magritte at the Hotel Amigo, hotels and travel, from Namibia to Victoria Falls. In L’Éventail, she also gives a voice to charities and foundations, from the King Baudouin Foundation to CARE Belgium.

She wrote about perfume for many years, a field she returned to in 2026 with a long interview with Maxence Nourric of the house of Guerlain.
